Join the College Access Breakthrough Collaborative

Do you want to help more traditionally underrepresented students go directly to 4-year college, and be able to afford it? Do you want to build your school’s capacity to engage in disciplined inquiry and make measurable improvement on the issues you care about most?

For the past two years, the Center for Research on Equity and Innovation at the HTH GSE has brought together a diverse group of 13 high schools (district, alternative, charter) to tackle the persistent problem of improving college access for all. We are now seeking to expand this network to include additional high schools/districts in California for the 2017-18 year. Our work together will use improvement science to focus on three critical drivers of college access:
  1. 1) FAFSA completion,
  2. 2) CalGrant awardance, which provides up to $50,000 tuition relief to low- and moderate-income students meeting certain academic requirements, and
  3. 3) supporting students and families with the college application process.
