Cheyenne Manske
Outreach Coordinator
A proud alumna of High Tech Middle and member of the 6th graduating class of High Tech High, Cheyenne shines with excitement now that she is returning to this great community of educators and students.  This year her enthusiasm will be utilized in her role as an Outreach Coordinator for the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. Her desire to see positive change in K-12 education drives her work. As an Outreach Coordinator Cheyenne connects with educators, administrators, and policy makers from around the world and helps them explore High Tech High classrooms where project-based learning is in action. She also supports student Ambassadors who are K-12 students that engage with visitors on tours and at larger events.

After graduating from High Tech High Cheyenne attended UCLA where she earned her BA in Philosophy, taking a special interest in normative ethics. While working on her bachelor's degree she interned in the Stem Cell Core lab at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and worked at the Hammer Museum as a Student Educator. After UCLA, she moved to San Diego to continue her 10+ year relationship with the San Diego Zoo’s Education Department. Finally, she joined the wonderful staff at High Tech High International as an Academic Coach for the 2014-15 school year. When she is not meeting interesting visitors or speaking with current High Tech High students about their experiences, Cheyenne loves to study yoga, paint, and attend local art events.
