Education Research Specialist, Center for Research on Equity and Innovation
Daisy Sharrock joins the Center for Research on Equity and Innovation after working as a 10th grade math and chemistry teacher at High Tech High. She is currently enrolled in the Educational Leadership doctorate program at the University of California, San Diego, where her research interests include student motivation and the development of reflective practitioners and their impact on school culture. Her masters publication Down the Rabbit Hole: An Exploration of Student Motivation, Grit and Scientific Inquiry was completed though the High Tech High Graduate School of Education in conjunction with the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego. She has published articles on project based learning and assessment in Unboxed: a Journal of Adult Learning, and is a contributing author to Surviving and thriving with teacher action research: Reflections and advice from the field (In press).
